Abstract

Scientific dissemination is a fundamental pillar for the socialization of knowledge, which strengthens institutions and contributes to human progress. However, the evaluation of scientific dissemination articles remains a challenge, as there are no precise criteria for their peer review. As a result, the recognition of such articles is limited in the academic field. One way to address this issue would be to submit dissemination products for evaluation through UNESCO’s platforms, specifically the Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), which promotes continuous education and includes science popularization as a right. Another option, which does not exclude the first, is to support dissemination efforts through peer-reviewed research, leveraging the potential offered by open-access scientific journals.
