The Mesoamerican Journal of Research is a publication of the Autonomous University of Chiapas, edited through the General Directorate of Research and Postgraduate Studies. Established in 2021 from a space of scientific discourse, it is a multidisciplinary journal whose primary objective is to foster the publication of high-quality scientific works from the Mesoamerican region, thereby promoting the identity of the continent in scientific interrelation with the rest of the world.
Aimed at professors, researchers, and students of all levels, the journal welcomes original and unpublished contributions written in Spanish or English, originating from established researchers and,simultaneously, emphasizing a formational character, offering a starting forum for undergraduate and postgraduate students to publish their research findings.
Through an open-access digital platform, with no publication charges, contributions are double-blind peer reviewed and are published in a continuous mode, appearing as they are approved. Therefore, there is no deadline for submissions. Original research articles, review articles, and book reviews are accepted in the following areas of knowledge:
